Environmental optimism and 'textile alchemy' is my jam.  Been upcycling discarded clothing, fabrics and manufacturers’ waste since my college days in the 80’s.  It all started as I was working my way through art school out of my need to make money around my other two jobs and full-time class schedule – and my love of our environment and making with my hands.
Ragamuffins got me through school and set me on the magical path self employment that has carried me through life.
Building awareness of our textile waste problem without blame, anxiety, or panic; Promoting environmental support that nurtures us humans too; Inspiring others to wrap their heads around the effect of their consumption, but more the effect of their positive action are the things that rock my world most.
