Learn how to make a simple “Irish lace” shaker-style broom from broom corn and cord. This style of broom has been in use for over 200 years, and is both decorative and practical around the house.
The broom corn is wound using a weaved pattern, making it elegant and more durable. Just a few hours are enough to learn how to make this broom, and you will take this useful item home with you at the end of the workshop.
Participants will be sitting and standing throughout the workshop and your hands will be in and out of water.
