In this workshop we will spin different wools and blends, ply and discuss what makes a good sock yarn and why.

Level of experience: Open to all who can spin a yarn.

Materials Provided by Instructor: 1 oz each of BFL, Polwarth/mohair/silk top and Merino/silk tops (or similar fibers), handouts.

Materials Provided by Student: Spinning wheel in good working order, 2 extra bobbins, lazy kate and niddy noddy. Open to e-spinners and spindlers as well.
