We are a 4-H Camelids Club located in Dutchess County, New York comprised of 14 members ranging in ages of 7-17 years old. Our club participates in many activities throughout the year, allowing us to showcase our animals while educating the public about the importance of 4-H. We are future leaders in training and are fortunate to have 4-H in our lives that nurtures and supports these types of initiatives. In addition, 7 (5 youth and 2 adults) of our club members are registered llama and alpaca animal assisted therapists in The Hudson Valley. We attend/participate annually in parades, festivals, Autism expos, and visit local children homes, nursery schools and summer camps.
